Returns
Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your order, in accordance with our warranty. After this period, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. Please note that minor imperfections are normal for handmade items. Any alteration or modification of the products will void the warranty. If you have concerns about your product, contact us via email with photos of the issue.
To return an item, you must provide proof of purchase, documentation proving the item is unused and in its original condition, and the reason for the return.
Cancellation Before Shipping
Cancellation requests must be made via email or phone before the item is shipped. Please note that cancellations cannot always be guaranteed due to the speed of shipping.
Refunds (If Applicable)
To be eligible for a refund, your return must be received at our warehouse in unused condition. It will undergo an inspection to assess its state. If approved, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within a few business days.
Delivery fees are non-refundable if the customer fails to collect their parcel from the carrier or designated pickup point in time. If a return to sender is required, a payment link will be sent via email to cover the return shipping costs.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not yet received your refund:
- First, check your bank account.
- Contact your bank or credit card company, as processing times may vary.
- If you still havenβt received your refund after 6 business days, contact us immediately at contact@katana-canada.ca.
Sale Items (If Applicable)
Only regular-priced items can be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges or Replacements
All exchanges or replacements must be requested as part of our 30-day warranty policy by contacting us via email. To be eligible for an exchange, the original item must be unused and in its original condition. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us for evaluation.
Customs
Parcels sent to Europe are not subject to customs duties.
If a customer choosing EMS, UPS, or SF EXPRESS refuses or forgets to pay customs fees, the package will be returned to sender, and reshipping fees will be billed to the customer.
For refunds related to customs fee refusal, a deduction of β¬40 (equivalent to delivery charges) will apply.
Customized or Engraved Katanas
Customized or engraved products cannot be refunded once prepared in our workshops.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Shipping Returns
When returning your order, please contact us for the return address and provide a tracking link for your return.
We recommend using the same courier service that delivered your order to ensure faster processing.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility and non-refundable. If you return an item valued at over $75 CAD, consider purchasing shipping insurance. If a problem occurs, claims must be filed with the carrier.
