At Katana Canada, we didn’t start as manufacturers — we started as passionate collectors, fascinated by the way fire, steel, and patience could create something timeless.
From our home in Canada, we set out with a simple mission: bring authentic Japanese craftsmanship and customization to collectors and practitioners around the world.
We partnered with skilled smiths in Longquan, and traditional workshops in Thailand — places where forging blades has been an art form for generations. Together, we combine time-honored techniques with modern personalization, so every katana reflects not only centuries of heritage, but also the unique vision of its owner.
For us, a katana is more than a blade. It is a story you carry, a legacy you keep, and a piece of culture that connects you to something greater.

At Katana Canada, nothing sits on a shelf. Every blade is made only when it is ordered , forged, polished, and assembled by our partner workshops with whom we’ve collaborated for over 5 years. This ensures each katana carries fresh workmanship and the spirit of true craft, not mass production.

We don’t just sell katanas, we build relationships. For more than five years, we have worked side by side with master smiths in Longquan and specialized artisans in Thailand.
