The Black Enma katana is named after the way Roronoa Zoro's Enma darkens when he coats it in Haki, and it is made here in 1060 carbon steel on a 105 cm full tang frame.
Enma, the sword that drinks Haki
Enma was forged by the swordsmith Shimotsuki Kozaburo and is one of the 21 Great Grade swords (Ō Wazamono). Kozuki Oden carried it first, paired with Amenohabakiri, and the two blades together left the cross-shaped scar on Kaido's chest.
What sets Enma apart is its appetite: it pulls Armament Haki out of its holder, whether the holder agrees or not. Zoro took it up in Wano after Kozuki Hiyori offered it to him in exchange for the Shusui. Pushed with enough Haki, the blade takes the black coat that gives this version its name.
Zoro, the first member to join Luffy's Straw Hat crew, dreams of becoming the world's greatest swordsman. Enma is Zoro's sword of the Wano arc and joins Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu in his Three Sword Style.
The standard look of the same sword, with its purple saya, is the Enma sword. The set is completed by the Wado Ichimonji sword and the Sandai Kitetsu sword, and all of them sit in our Zoro swords collection. The rest of the series is in One Piece swords.

Questions about Black Enma
What is the Black Enma katana?
It is Zoro's Enma as it looks when Haki darkens the blade. In the story it is the same Great Grade sword made by Shimotsuki Kozaburo, so the name describes a look, not a different blade.
Does it drain its owner like in One Piece?
No. The drain belongs to the story. The replica is a 1060 carbon steel katana, made to order.
Sharpened or Not Sharpened?
Both options use the same 1060 carbon steel. Not Sharpened is the one for a shelf or a costume. Sharpened is the option for adult collectors who know how to look after a blade. Local rules can differ, so read our guide to sword laws in Canada before you order.

Sharpened or not sharpened?
On most models, sharpening is optional and costs the same: when both are offered, choose Sharpened or Not Sharpened above. A not-sharpened blade is the safer choice for display and cosplay.
Lifetime warranty
Your katana is guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects: the blade (steel, heat treatment, geometry) and the original mounting (tang, tsuba, handle, wrap, saya), with no time limit.
Not covered: normal wear, damage from inappropriate use (cutting hard targets, impacts, throwing), lack of maintenance, and modifications or sharpening outside our recommendations.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser. To make a claim, email contact@katana-canada.ca with photos and your order number. It adds to your legal rights, it never replaces them.

Returns and refunds
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging. We issue your refund the day we receive and check your return, to your original payment method. Damaged or incorrect item? Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photos. Custom and engraved katanas are made for you: once preparation has started, they can no longer be cancelled or refunded. Full returns policy
Customs Fees
No customs fees for you to pay. If a carrier ever asks you for any, just contact us and we'll reimburse them.
Owning a katana in Canada
Katanas are not prohibited weapons under the Criminal Code: adults can own one without a permit or registration. The law looks at intent and use, so keep yours for display, collection or practice, and transport it wrapped and out of reach (in the trunk, for example). We sell to adults 18 and over only.

Arrived faster than expected, appears to be well crafted with tight fittings. Could be a little sharper, so bought some water stones to put some more work into it. Just wish I knew more about the steel used in the forging process. Not sure if I need to be diligent with keeping the blade oiled or not to protect it from rusting?

I got the cleaning kit and wall mount, 10/10 would recommend the stand. Only comment is that is arrived with a small nick on the tip of the sheath, other than that it is impeccable. I love the Katana. A bit on the expensive side for what it really is but i can’t deny it looks amazing. It’s solid, looks really good and overall is a great item. I will attempt to sharpen it more in the futur because the blade was not sharpened enough to my liking. I recommend it. Mine took about 2 weeks to arrive from the day of the order.
