The Kill Bill sword is the Hattori Hanzo katana the Bride carries in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill. This fan-made replica is inspired by it: hand-forged in Damascus steel, built on a full tang and 105 cm long overall.
In Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003), the Bride, played by Uma Thurman, is a former member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. She travels to Okinawa to obtain a sword from Hattori Hanzo, a sushi chef and long-retired master swordsmith played by Sonny Chiba. After learning that her target is Bill, his former student, Hanzo makes his finest sword for her.
She carries it into the House of Blue Leaves, the restaurant where she faces O-Ren Ishii's elite squad, the Crazy 88. Kill Bill: Vol. 2 followed in 2004 and continues her story.
One detail collectors enjoy: the real Hattori Hanzo was a 16th-century samurai who served Tokugawa Ieyasu, not a swordsmith. Tarantino named the film's fictional smith after him. The full story is in our guide to the Hattori Hanzo katana.
The replica's blade is hand-forged from layered Damascus steel, which shows a rippling pattern along its 72 cm (28 in) length, and it is built on a full tang core. The handle is wrapped in black PU leather ito over genuine rayskin, finished with a matching PU leather sageo and a black, round openwork tsuba. It suits display, cosplay and collecting.

On most models, sharpening is optional and costs the same: when both are offered, choose Sharpened or Not Sharpened above. A not-sharpened blade is the safer choice for display and cosplay.
Your katana is guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects: the blade (steel, heat treatment, geometry) and the original mounting (tang, tsuba, handle, wrap, saya), with no time limit.
Not covered: normal wear, damage from inappropriate use (cutting hard targets, impacts, throwing), lack of maintenance, and modifications or sharpening outside our recommendations.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser. To make a claim, email contact@katana-canada.ca with photos and your order number. It adds to your legal rights, it never replaces them.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging. No customs fees for you to pay. If a carrier ever asks you for any, just contact us and we'll reimburse them.
Katanas are not prohibited weapons under the Criminal Code: adults can own one without a permit or registration. The law looks at intent and use, so keep yours for display, collection or practice, and transport it wrapped and out of reach (in the trunk, for example). We sell to adults 18 and over only.

soon as i received it in the mail... i was skeptical at first not knowing it was gonna be the real deal, but this is real as much as it feels. loving it as it is my first Katana. saving up just to buy another! 6/5 would recommend if you are looking for quality made other than just for show!

Arrived faster than expected, appears to be well crafted with tight fittings. Could be a little sharper, so bought some water stones to put some more work into it. Just wish I knew more about the steel used in the forging process. Not sure if I need to be diligent with keeping the blade oiled or not to protect it from rusting?

I bought this set for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. Needless to say he was speechless and stoked. The craftsmanship, the detail and all together quality is insanely good. I got the cleaning kit and wall mount, 10/10 would recommend the stand. Only comment is that is arrived with a small nick on the tip of the sheath, other than that it is impeccable. Thank you to those who spent time and energy into these pieces, you are highly gifted! Will likely buy again in the future!

I love the Katana. A bit on the expensive side for what it really is but i can’t deny it looks amazing. It’s solid, looks really good and overall is a great item. I will attempt to sharpen it more in the futur because the blade was not sharpened enough to my liking. I recommend it. Mine took about 2 weeks to arrive from the day of the order.
