Roronoa Zoro fights with three swords at once, one in each hand and one between his teeth. This Zoro swords collection brings together the six swords behind that style: Wado Ichimonji, Sandai Kitetsu, Enma, Black Enma, Shusui and Yubashiri. Each is a full-size replica in 1060 carbon steel, made to order and offered sharpened or not sharpened, with optional engraving for $30. Delivery is free in Canada and duties are covered. Plan on 3 to 4 weeks from order to your door: about 1 to 2 weeks of forging, then 1 to 2 weeks of delivery. Below, the story of each blade and how to choose yours.

Which swords does Roronoa Zoro use?

Zoro fights in the Three Sword Style, Santoryu: one sword in each hand and one in his mouth. Since the Wano arc, his trio is Wado Ichimonji, Sandai Kitetsu and Enma. Two earlier blades complete the story: Yubashiri, given to him by the owner of a Loguetown sword shop and later destroyed at Enies Lobby, and Shusui, earned at Thriller Bark and handed back to Wano in exchange for Enma.

Black Enma is the same sword as Enma in a black finish. This collection holds all six, so you can rebuild the trio or follow the whole story. For the lore in depth, read our Roronoa Zoro sword guide.

The Zoro swords in this collection

Wado Ichimonji: Kuina's promise

Wado Ichimonji belonged to Kuina, Zoro's childhood rival. After her death her father gave it to Zoro, who carries the dream they shared: becoming the world's greatest swordsman. It is one of the 21 Great Grade swords, and the one he holds in his mouth. The Wado Ichimonji sword has a white handle and a white saya.

Sandai Kitetsu: the cursed blade

Zoro found Sandai Kitetsu in a Loguetown sword shop. The Kitetsu line is said to curse its owners, so he tested it by tossing the blade in the air and holding out his arm. It left him unharmed and he kept it. It is a Grade sword, the lowest of the four ranks. The Sandai Kitetsu sword has a red handle and a red saya.

Enma: the sword that drains Haki

Enma once belonged to Kozuki Oden and left a scar on Kaido. It is one of the 21 Great Grade swords, and it forcibly draws out its owner's Armament Haki, which is why so few can wield it. Zoro received it in Wano in exchange for Shusui. The Enma sword has a purple saya.

Black Enma: the dark finish

Same sword, same legend, in black. Pick it if you prefer a darker piece to the purple of the anime, and compare the finish on the Black Enma sword page before you choose.

Shusui: the Black Blade

Shusui was the sword of the samurai Ryuma. It is a Black Blade, called Kokuto in the series, and one of the 21 Great Grade swords. Zoro earned it at Thriller Bark from Ryuma's reanimated body and gave it back in Wano, where he received Enma. The Shusui sword has a black handle and a black saya with red accents.

Yubashiri: the lost blade

Yubashiri was a gift. The owner of the Loguetown sword shop gave it to Zoro after he faced the Sandai Kitetsu curse. It is a Skillful Grade sword, one of the 50 in the series. The Marine captain Shu destroyed it at Enies Lobby. The Yubashiri sword has a black saya.

How to choose your Zoro sword

Every sword here comes sharpened or not sharpened, with optional engraving for $30. Not sharpened suits a shelf, a stand or cosplay photos. Sharpened is for collectors who want the blade finished with an edge: treat it like any edged blade, keep it sheathed and out of children's reach. Prices start at $449 CAD.

To rebuild the Santoryu, take Wado Ichimonji, Sandai Kitetsu and Enma, then add a three-place stand or wall mount from our stands and wall mounts. These are full-tang steel swords: a wooden or foam prop is lighter, but it is a different product. Each sword is made to order and checked before it ships. Unfamiliar terms like saya or tsuba are explained in our Japanese sword glossary.

Zoro swords: your questions

Is it legal to own a Zoro sword in Canada?

Generally, yes. Our guide Sword laws in Canada explains that Canadian law does not specifically prohibit owning a katana, and that swords do not need a permit or registration. They are generally treated as collectible items kept for collection and display. Rules vary by province and city and can affect how you carry or display a sword, so check your local rules. This is general information, not legal advice.

How long does delivery take?

Each sword is made to order. Plan on 3 to 4 weeks in total: about 1 to 2 weeks of forging, then 1 to 2 weeks of delivery. Delivery is free in Canada.

Will I pay customs or duties at the door?

No. Customs clearance and import duties are handled for you and included in the price, so nothing is collected at your door. Sales tax (GST, QST or HST, depending on your province) is added at checkout. See our customs and duties page for details.

What is the difference between Enma and Black Enma?

Nothing in the story: they are the same sword in two finishes. Enma has the purple saya seen in the anime, Black Enma is the black version. Compare the photos on each page.

Which Zoro sword should I buy first?

Wado Ichimonji is the natural start: Zoro has carried it from the beginning. If you want the sword that defines his look in Wano, choose Enma.

How do I look after a carbon steel sword?

Carbon steel rusts if it stays damp. Wipe the blade with a soft dry cloth after handling it, keep a thin film of sword oil on it and store it in a dry room. Our guide on how to care for a katana covers the steps.
