Full description
This Ghost of Tsushima katana is a fan-made replica inspired by Jin Sakai's sword, made as a 105 cm katana in hand-forged 1060 carbon steel with a full tang.
Jin Sakai's katana in Ghost of Tsushima
Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima (2020) is set in 1274, when a Mongol fleet led by Khotun Khan invades the island of Tsushima. Jin Sakai, the sole remaining member of Clan Sakai, is a samurai and the nephew of Lord Shimura. Realizing that he cannot fight the Mongols in the way of the samurai, he learns stealth and guerrilla tactics and takes the path of the Ghost.
The katana is at the centre of the game. Jin changes stance to suit his opponent: stone against swordsmen, water against shielded enemies, wind against spearmen and moon against brutes. He can also call a standoff, a direct confrontation with the enemy that can end in a single sequence of strikes.
The game was published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4 in 2020 and came to PC in 2024.
Our Jin Sakai katana is hand-forged from high-performance 1060 carbon steel on a full tang core, with a finely balanced 72 cm (28 in) blade. The 30 cm (11.8 in) handle is wrapped in soft cotton ito over synthetic rayskin for enhanced grip, and it is finished with a black, rounded tsuba and a cotton sageo.
It sits in our anime swords, next to another game blade, the Yamato sword from Devil May Cry. The Sekiro sword is in our high-end katanas.

Questions about this katana
Is this Jin Sakai katana the sword from the game?
It is a fan-made replica inspired by Jin Sakai's katana, made to order as a 105 cm katana in 1060 carbon steel. It is not officially licensed.
How long is the Ghost of Tsushima katana?
105 cm (41 in) overall, with a 72 cm (28 in) blade, 3.2 cm (1.2 in) wide and 0.7 cm (0.27 in) thick, and a 30 cm (11.8 in) handle.
What can I choose when I order?
Two options: Sharpened or Not Sharpened, and Without Engraving or With Engraving (+$30). You choose them on this page before adding the katana to your cart.
Fan-made replica inspired by Ghost of Tsushima. Not officially licensed.
Sharpened or not sharpened?
On most models, sharpening is optional and costs the same: when both are offered, choose Sharpened or Not Sharpened above. A not-sharpened blade is the safer choice for display and cosplay.
Lifetime warranty
Your katana is guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects: the blade (steel, heat treatment, geometry) and the original mounting (tang, tsuba, handle, wrap, saya), with no time limit.
Not covered: normal wear, damage from inappropriate use (cutting hard targets, impacts, throwing), lack of maintenance, and modifications or sharpening outside our recommendations.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser. To make a claim, email contact@katana-canada.ca with photos and your order number. It adds to your legal rights, it never replaces them.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 182 reviews.
I like it very much. Well done overall. It’s my first one. But as soon as I will know more and more about Katana, I will buy another one with Katana Canada as being a proud Canadian
Love this sword
The Katana war really beutyful and it’s arrive in great condition and it’s really good quality
Je suis entièrement satisfait. Le katana est exactement comme je l'avais demandé. Je recommande à toutes et à tous.
Arrived faster than expected, appears to be well crafted with tight fittings. Could be a little sharper, so bought some water stones to put some more work into it. Just wish I knew more about the steel used in the forging process. Not sure if I need to be diligent with keeping the blade oiled or not to protect it from rusting?
Honestly great service and delivery time
Beautifully crafted, fantastic weight to it and the feeling of...POWER in my hand. Pity I can't find a suitable replica for Rebellion or the Devil Arm Sparda to complete my collection but still a Beaty of a blade
The Customer Service responded pretty fast to my inquiries so ill give them a 5 for that. The Sword feels very custom. I love how it turned out. It isn't as sharp i thought it would be though.
The stand looks amazing with the katana in it!!
Beautiful sword! Nice weight and excellent craftsmanship!
My Katana arrived promptly!! It was as beautiful as I hoped it would be. Extremely well crafted. I built my own and was not disappointed. I engraved our Japanese family name in Kanji and it came out beautifully. This will be a treasured piece to hand down for generations. So pleased with everything. Thank you.
Excellent item, kinda accents the theme of a space in my office with the plants and samurai. Eventually I plan to add a small zen garden kit to accentuate the mental health efforts of my role. Thank you!
Tanjiro Second Generation Mini Katana – Demon Slayer Edition
I bought this set for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. Needless to say he was speechless and stoked. The craftsmanship, the detail and all together quality is insanely good. I got the cleaning kit and wall mount, 10/10 would recommend the stand. Only comment is that is arrived with a small nick on the tip of the sheath, other than that it is impeccable. Thank you to those who spent time and energy into these pieces, you are highly gifted! Will likely buy again in the future!
Great
I love it , just what I ordered .
Top quality, well balanced
excellent quality
Very satisfying.
Designing the katana was awesome. A lot of choices to make .Shipping was incredibly fast and the katana is amazing and beautiful. Only negative was that it wasn’t very sharp but I’m a professional sharpener so not a big deal. Overall 10 out of 10!
I got this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. There were so many choices to make it truly custom, it was a lot of fun going through them all. There was communication throughout every step of the process which was greatly appreciated since it takes weeks from start to finish. I have already recommended it to a friend.
I love it, its feels great, looks good, but there is a slight bent in it, but all aside that I love.it
Beyond exceptions I will order more.
couldnt be happier with the product.
Merci je l’aime beaucoup ! Je ne suis pas déçu
Beauty piece of art and history. Very professional work. I'll be purchasing from this company again and I'll be recommending them to my friends. Thanks for the great piece.
Very satisfied and happy with my order. The customizer allowed me to build the katana that was forged to my great satisfaction.... Perfect!! Thanks KATANA CANADA..... Job well done...
Excellent starter or travel display stand for special events.

Great . Worth the short wait
Its my second sword and they are both amazing!!!!
I'm very impressed with my new custom spring steel katana. Communication was also fantastic, thank you for answering all of my questions too! Wonderful customer service!
Excellent quality blades. Very professional
Looks amazing. Love the quality and feels like my own
I love the katana. It is what I've been looking for.
I love the Katana. A bit on the expensive side for what it really is but i can’t deny it looks amazing. It’s solid, looks really good and overall is a great item. I will attempt to sharpen it more in the futur because the blade was not sharpened enough to my liking. I recommend it. Mine took about 2 weeks to arrive from the day of the order.
A great addition to your katana.
Excellent blade for active use, very neat assembly and all this complements the unique experience of choosing components manually, huge customization from the choice of steel depending on your goals up to the decorative details, everything arrived in 2.5 weeks
Great job 👍
